In Iwate, a corner bar is called "mokkiri," and Heiko Shoten is a liquor store that is a relative of the founding family of Iwate Prefecture's oldest sake brewery, Kikunotsukasa Sake Brewery, and is one of Morioka's most representative corner bars, along with the long-established Hosoju Sake Shop and Kagiya Sake Shop.
