Actor Koji Yamamoto, also known as "Mr. Koji," travels 3,000 miles in search of authentic flavors. In order to master his gourmet tastes, the show begins with him drinking "delicious food" and "delicious beer" at "famous restaurants" around town.
The first episode airs on Monday, January 8th, and features food and drinks at the popular bar "Motsuya Yoshida" in Sangenjaya, Setagaya! This time, Mr. Koji will be enjoying the restaurant's signature "Motsuya" and "Boiled Tongue." The Motsuya is an exquisite dish, with its odor and excess fat removed by low-temperature cooking. The boiled tongue, which uses beef tongue as the broth to bring out the flavor of the ingredients, is lightly seasoned, yet still retains the meaty flavor.
