From January 27th (Saturday) to March 3rd (Sunday), 2024, all 14 days of the period, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays,Omi Local Sake Train" will be operated.

The "Omi Local Sake Train" is an event where you can enjoy local sake from 11 breweries in Shiga Prefecture, mainly located along the Omi Railway line, and this will be the eighth time it has been held since the train began operation.

This time, two operation plans have been set up, allowing passengers to enjoy Junmai sake (some Junmai Ginjo sake) from 11 breweries and Daiginjo sake from one brewery on a daily basis. In addition, there will be a regular operation with a bento box containing Shiga's specialty dishes, and a premium operation, which will be the first for the "Omi Local Sake Train."
