The Shikoku Sake Festival, a regional exchange event featuring a local sake tasting event bringing together Shikoku's finest sakes and the opening of local sake breweries, will be held this weekend.
The event will be held in Awa Ikeda, Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture, a place known as a hidden sake town, where Shikoku's historic sake breweries come together. At this event, you can enjoy selected fine sake from all over Shikoku, focusing on new sake, and you can also taste freshly pressed new sake that only the brewers can drink. In addition, a symposium on traditional sake brewing will be held, providing an opportunity to learn more about the techniques and culture of sake brewing. Shikoku sake lovers, go!
