A famous skewer stew restaurant
When talking about stews in Tokyo, it is essential to mention the famous skewered stew restaurant "Sasamoto" in Shinjuku Omoide Yokocho and Ginza.Sasamoto seriesThere are three "Sasamoto" restaurants in Tokyo. The defining feature of this precious sasamoto-style restaurant is the exquisite soup made with only miso and water, and the stewed offal on skewers.

Sasa Taniguchiya
Sasa Taniguchiya, which was located in Monzen-Nakacho, closed in September of this year and reopened in Ningyocho on Wednesday, October 23rd, under the name "Sasa TachiguchiyaWe visited the pre-opening of this new store!

It's located on the second floor of the building next to the Daiso at Ningyocho intersection. Upon entering, there are counter and table seats, and it's so spacious that it seems to be more than twice the size of the old store. I'm excited to see what it will be like!
Tanihai
First, start with a shochu highball called "Tanihai"!

They are currently creating original glasses, but they won't be ready in time for the pre-opening, so they are originally planning to use larger glasses! The ice-free bowl with a rich extract is delicious!
Set C 2,000 yen
For meals, you basically choose your favorite course from courses A to C. I want to eat a full meal, so I'd like to have "C"!

Simmered skewers
First, we started with the stew. The stew on this day was an exquisite dish of beef fluff and pork stew with tendons.

The refreshing miso soup is packed with the umami flavor of the stewed animal and plant ingredients, and is full-bodied and deep, even though it's only the first day of pre-opening!
Negima
A luxurious skewer of irregularly chopped beef skirt steak and spring onions. The savory flavor of the beef and the sweetness of the spring onions fill your mouth with deliciousness!

lever
The shallow cooking is just right, and the salt and pepper are just right!

Heart shabu-shabu
This skewer of pork heart is shabu-shabu-broiled in a stew pot and finished with ponzu sauce, resulting in a unique, bouncy skewer. This is Sasamoto's specialty!

Upper White
Grilled teppo with sauce. I like to grill white-based sauces, so this was the perfect doneness!

Myoga rolls and shishito peppers
The course ends with a refreshing vegetable dish.

The last dish is another classic: cabbage skewers. Finish by drinking up the last drop of soup!

Grape splitting
Speaking of Sasamoto, there's the "grape mix" made by mixing 9 parts Kinmyou to 1 part wine. I nibbled on this slowly and it was ready, and then it was time to enjoy!

Checkout
All this for just 2,000 yen is a great deal!
From stews to skewers, shabu-shabu, well-grilled, wakayaki, meat rolls, cabbage, etc. Nice pitching using the full strike zone, varying the speed and pitching from high inside to low outside! Nice course!
Congratulations on your opening!
