Hoppy Beverage President Mina Ishiwata spoke about the environmental advantages of glass bottles at Drink Japan, held on November 22. The glass bottles used for the company's flagship product, Hoppy, are made from earth-sourced materials and are highly regarded as recyclable containers that achieve the 3Rs of reuse, reduce, and recycle.

The collection rate for returnable bottles used in restaurants is particularly high, maintaining a collection rate of 97.6-99.4% between 2014 and 2024. President Ishiwata said that commercial liquor stores have reported a 100% collection rate. In response to the current situation where glass bottle use has decreased due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company aims to revive glass bottles by proposing the use of glass bottles in combination with PET bottles. The company urges people to "select the right container for the occasion with the right knowledge, which will lead to a sustainable society."
