Yoro Railway operates "Masu Sake Train

Yoro Railway operates a special train called the "Masu Sake Train," which uses wooden masu sake boxes, a specialty of Ogaki City.

This is a fun special train where you can drink sake brewed by breweries along the Yoro Railway line from original wooden masu cups on board. Ogaki City's wooden masu cups are a specialty product that boasts 80% of the national market share.

This year, the train is scheduled to operate approximately twice a month, mainly on weekends, starting from Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Additionally, from April to December 2025, we will be collaborating with illustrator Sasatsuyu for a limited time.

1. Implementation dates: Saturday, April 12th, 2025, Sunday, April 20th,

May 25th (Sun), 31st (Sat),

June 7th (Sat) and 29th (Sun)

The schedule for July and beyond will be announced on our website as soon as it is decided.        

2. Trains to be implemented: Ogaki Station departing at 11:46am bound for Kuwana

3. Section: Ogaki Station to Kuwana Station (travel time: approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes)

4. Participation fee: 6,500 yen per adult (including consumption tax)

(Includes Yoro Railway one-day pass, lunch box, sake, sake cup, etc.)

5. Maximum number of participants: 34 (minimum number of participants: 15)

*As alcohol is consumed, those under the age of 20 cannot participate.

Click and select the name of the event you want to hold on the date from the event calendar.

7. Application Period Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for each month of the event. Applications will open at 9:30 a.m. on the opening day of each month.

April event: Applications open from Monday, March 3rd

May event: Applications open from Tuesday, April 1st

June event: Applications open from May 1st (Thursday)

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on the Friday two weeks prior to the event.

(Example) Deadline for April: For the event on April 12th, the deadline is 12 noon on Friday, March 28th

*We will contact those who have applied once it has been decided that the event will be held.

8. Collaboration details: From April 12th to December, with illustrator Sasatsuyu

We will be holding a collaborative project with the Masu Sake Train.
