Whiskey distillery opened in Kishiwada by a Sakai sake brewery.

Sakai, Osaka, was once a famous sake-brewing region on a par with Nada and Fushimi. For the first time in 44 years, the lights of sake brewing have gone out in Sakai, and now the lights and steam of sake brewing are rising. Small batches of sake are brewed, carefully and meticulously. Rice is washed, steamed, and koji is made over the course of a day and night, and the mash is prepared, and you can hear the sound of the sake being pressed. This is the homepage of Rikyugura, the only sake brewery in Sakai, Osaka.
