Located in a shopping complex in the heart of Osaka, visitors can learn about the commitment to quality of the Yamazaki single malt whiskey brand and the appeal of whiskey production at the Yamazaki Distillery through a special video about the manufacturing process at the Yamazaki Distillery and a drinking experience at the WHISKEY BOTTLE BAR.
About the contents
A new video theater based on the Yamazaki brand colors has been set up in the WHISKY GALLERY, an exhibition area at the entrance to SUNTORY WHISKY HOUSE. After watching an immersive video about the "craftsmanship and story" that led to the creation of the Yamazaki single malt whiskey brand, visitors can enjoy the pairing of Yamazaki 12 Year Old single malt whiskey with raw chocolate at the WHISKEY BOTTLE BAR.
We are also exhibiting and selling "Taru Monogatari," a collection of repurposed furniture and interior items made from barrels that have been used for aging whiskey for approximately 50 to 70 years. Please take a look at "Taru Monogatari," where you can experience the new charm of barrel wood that has finished its role as a whiskey barrel.
