Tanimachi Furusato, a long-established udon restaurant that has been a favorite in Tanimachi 9-chome, Osaka for about 50 years, will close its doors on May 28, 2025 and relocate to Nihonbashi. The relocation is due to aging, and the new restaurant will be located near the Osaka Metro Nihonbashi Station and is scheduled to open on June 8.
Founded in 1948, Furusato has a long history, starting as a food stall, and has become a favorite of many people for its 24-hour business style and its Osaka udon noodles, which feature a sweet broth.
