Representatives from regions that have not yet held regional competitions will be selected through auditions held at the headquarters, and the path to becoming "2026 Miss SAKE Japan" will be paved through the prefecture representatives (finalists). The selected finalists will undergo a three-month training program called the "Nadeshiko Program," where they will hone their dignity and sophistication through a wide range of learning, including kimono dressing, Japanese culture, international etiquette, makeup, and agriculture.
Applicants must be between 20 and 39 years old as of April 1, 2025, unmarried, and hold Japanese nationality. There are no swimsuit competitions or height restrictions, and the grand prize winner will receive a prize of 3 million yen and be able to work as an ambassador both in Japan and overseas. The deadline for written applications is December 1, 2025, with the first and second rounds of judging and the final selection scheduled to take place between March and June 2026.
