Restaurant Ohara at Odawara Fishing Port will be closing at the end of October.
The famous fried horse mackerel set meal was popular nationwide, with customers coming from far and wide to try the dish, and it was not uncommon to have to wait an hour for it. Thank you very much for your hard work over the years.
I heard about the store's closure and prepared to wait, so I went to the 100 famous stores at Odawara Fishing Port. After waiting for an hour, I finally got in on my third visit.
The fried horse mackerel was delicious, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - the best I've had since eating it in Tsukiji 👍🏻 The fried shrimp was also thick and bouncy - the best!
I'd like to come back again before closing time, but it's autumn street performance season so I guess that's impossible☹️
