Kamakura is an ancient capital. While it has an image of being full of tourist-priced restaurants, there are also many traditional "town Chinese" restaurants that continue to be loved by locals. Chuka Daishin, which has been in business for half a century, is one such restaurant. Unusually for Kamakura, it is open until 4am, and bustling with people looking for a "final ramen" after a night of drinking.
