The Koriyama Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Koriyama Sake & Fermentation Festival Executive Committee will hold the Sake Festival from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Hanakatsumi Yamazakura on the 4th floor of the Koriyama View Hotel Annex in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture.
Six local breweries in Koriyama City (Sasanokawa Sake Brewery, Sato Sake Brewery, Niida Honke, Miharu Sake Brewery, Wakaseki Sake Brewery, and Watanabe Sake Brewery Main Branch) will gather together to enjoy a tasting of fine sake, including "hiyaoroshi (Autumn Arriving)," a sake unique to the beginning of autumn.
Participants will receive a ticket with nine sake exchange coupons (5,000 yen in advance/5,500 yen on the day), and there will also be a variety of other events, including a food buffet featuring Koriyama's autumn flavors, a big raffle, and a paid "sake gacha" (sake gacha).
