Shin-Maruko "Sanchan Shokudo"
I took care of some business in Yokohama in the morning and was heading home on the Shonan-Shinjuku Line around 3pm. I was wondering if there was a place on the train where I could have a quick drink in the afternoon...

Ah! It's been a while since I've been able to go to Sanchan Shokudo!
I quickly got off the train and headed over, and on the other side of the door I heard the hustle and bustle of about 100 people talking at the same time, and the festive atmosphere could be heard outside the shop.

I chose Maitake mushrooms from the tempura menu, which included shirako (milt) and myoga (Japanese ginger). I feel like I've been ordering tempura more often since I became an older man.

It's open all day, so you can enjoy a drink in the afternoon, or even a set meal for lunch. It's a popular restaurant that caters to those who enjoy drinking, and has a similar aura to Marudai Hall in Kawasaki City.
If they're having such a great success at this time on a weekday, I'd love to see them open a second store, Yonchang Shokudo, and a third store, Gonchang Shokudo! Ideally, near my house!
