For the wrap-up party for my magazine serialization, I casually suggested to my editor that I go to a soba restaurant that I'd never been to before. I found out about this restaurant because of its meat tofu. One day, I saw a picture of meat tofu on social media that said, "It's way too dark!" I made a note of the restaurant's name and waited for an opportunity to go there. It felt somehow grown-up and nice to have a wrap-up party at a soba restaurant after a break from work.
