Part 2 of the Kansai edition of "Bars and Life." It's been a few years since my last trip to Kyoto and Osaka. On my first day in Kyoto, I visited Matsuo Taisha Shrine, a place I'd always wanted to visit, enjoyed the long-awaited Kotogase Chaya, and then took the Keifuku Electric Railroad Arashiyama Main Line to Nishioji-Sanjo Station. A small bar tucked away in a residential area was full to capacity shortly after opening.
