When you have small children, going to a yakitori restaurant as a family can be a bit of a challenge. Our favorite local spot only has counter seating, so it's surprisingly hard to find a good yakitori restaurant that's easy to get to from home. My wife found a delicious-looking yakitori restaurant with seating in a town two stations from our nearest station. It turned out to be a popular pub I'd been interested in for a while. We made a reservation right away and headed out with our family early on a weekday.
