The 16th "Bentencho" Station Walk 

The name of the area, Bentencho, is said to have come from Benzaiten, a goddess who was once enshrined here. Personally, I don't usually go there much, but when I do take a walk around Bentencho Station, I find there are lots of interesting discoveries to be made.

You can transfer from Bentencho Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line to Bentencho Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line, and if you take the Chuo Line and head a little further west you will find Tempozan, an area close to the port.

With just four stations remaining in our "Osaka Loop Line: Get Off, Walk, and Have a Drink" segment with Suzuki Nao, this is the 16th installment. We previously visited Bentencho, home to Nakamoto, a izakaya with a lovely neon sign in front of the station, as part of a different project.
