Furoya no Yokocho is a standing bar located next to a public bath in a shopping arcade on Awaji Island. I heard that the fish shop Hayashiya, which allows customers to bring in their own food and offers its standard sashimi platters, was closing, so I took the ferry to Awaji Island on August 30th, its last day of business.
