[Blog/syupo] Edoyasu, a Kyoto-based sushi restaurant, has relocated due to redevelopment. The long-established sushi restaurant remains affordable and delicious.

The area around Keisei Tateishi Station is undergoing redevelopment. Edoyasu, a long-established sushi restaurant that had been operating for many years in the iconic "Drinking Alley," was wiped out along with the entire street, but in January 2025, it made its long-awaited reopening in a new store. We visited the restaurant, which retains its old atmosphere while adding new charm.

Redevelopment is underway around Keisei-Shiraishi Station. The long-established sushi restaurant "Edoyasu," which had been operating for a long time in the symbolic "Drinking Alley," was demolished along with the streetscape, but will reopen in January 2025 as a new store.
