Located north of Asakusa, Nihonzutsumi has a history as a flophouse district known as "Sanya." This former working-class area has now been transformed into an area with a unique energy, attracting backpackers and tourists from overseas. Ichihachi Sushi has been open here since 1962 (Showa 37).
