A tip from Nikomi Mist: "I recommend Sasayaguchiya, a so-called 'Sasamoto-style' restaurant, where the chef trained at the long-established bar 'Sasamoto' in Shinjuku Omoide Yokocho and Ginza! Their skewered stews, seasoned only with water, miso, and the umami that comes from the ingredients, are the best!" With this information, I headed to Monzen-Nakacho, where the restaurant is located. Not only were the dishes delicious, but the sake, which was mixed in an amazing way, was actually a carefully thought-out blend and was even more delicious than I had imagined.
