A trip to enjoy three types of Chichibu alcohol with a wine sommelier
We are now accepting applications for the one-day bus tour "Enjoying Three Types of Alcohol in Chichibu with a Wine Sommelier," departing from Omiya on Saturday, February 15th.
★1st drink [Wine: Chichibu Wine] On the bus ride there, a Chichibu Wine sommelier will talk about wine. Perhaps the wine you taste after gaining a deeper knowledge of wine will taste a little different! ★2nd drink [Whiskey: Ichiro's Malt] Ichiro's Malt (Venture Whisky Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) has won the world's highest award six times at the World Whisky Awards, the most prestigious international whisky tasting event held in London, England. On this tour, you will compare two types of Ichiro's Malt. ★3rd sake [Sake: Chichibu Nishiki] After visiting the Chichibu Nishiki sake brewery museum, you can enjoy tasting and shopping.
Chichibu Wine Factory Tour, Tasting, and Shopping: Ogano Town
Visit Chichibu Wine, famous for its Gensaku brand. You can sample and purchase wines exclusive to the direct sales store while enjoying cheese from Yamanami Cheese Factory!

Lunch at Susaki Ryokan & Tasting of Two Types of Ichiro's Malt: Ogano Town
You can choose two of the four types of Ichiro's Malt: Limited Edition, Mizunara Wood Reserve, Wine Wood Reserve, and Double Distilleries (approximately 30cc each). *You can also compare the third and fourth types by paying the difference on site. The meal includes Chichibu's specialty Waraji Katsu and Okkirikomi, along with snacks that go perfectly with whiskey.

Chichibu Nishiki Sake Brewery Museum Tour and Tasting at Sake Brewery Forest: Chichibu City
The famous sake "Chichibu Nishiki" was born in the deep mountain and pure water of the fairyland of Chichibu in 1749. For over 270 years since then, blessed with the high quality water of the Arakawa River system and the cold climate unique to the Chichibu Basin, it has made use of traditional handcrafted techniques and gained a reputation for the rich, full-bodied flavor of local sake.
