Episode 11Sake Shop Corner Drinking Festival” (commonly known as “KakuFes”) will be held from Friday, November 14th to Sunday, November 16th, 2025 at Takenodai Square in Ueno Park, Tokyo.
The venue will feature 29 liquor stores (22 in Tokyo and 7 outside), 25 restaurants, and 3 PR booths. Over 300 types of alcohol, including sake, shochu, wine, and craft beer, will be available in a "Kakuuchi (standing bar)" style, making it a place that can be enjoyed by both alcohol lovers and novices.
In addition, there will be a variety of experiential programs, including a "sake tasting experience," a new experience in collaboration with Waseda University's puzzle-solving project "algo," the "Tokyo Local Sake Concierge" where Tokyo breweries will suggest sake based on visitors' preferences, and the "Kakufes Sake Awards," a voting project for the sake chosen by liquor stores. Admission is 500 yen!
