Kirishima Shuzo, a shochu maker in Miyakonojo, Miyazaki Prefecture, is currently hosting a pop-up shop in Shinbashi called "Kirishima Hororu Kirishima Sururu Chiruru Sakaba." Not only can you drink Kirishima Shuzo's barley and rice shochu, "Kirishima Hororu" and "Kirishima Sururu," but the shop's interior evokes a forest atmosphere and offers a menu of pairings with smoked foods and oden. There are also two foot baths with hot water infused with shochu, allowing you to experience the "Hororu no Yu" bath with Kirishima Hororu and the "Sururu no Yu" bath with Kirishima Sururu.
They say that alcohol is absorbed through the skin and makes you drunk, but I wonder if that's true! I'd love to try it.
