From December 2nd to March 31st of the following year, there will be a nighttime event in Daikumachi, a busy shopping district in Mito City.DAIKUMACHI NIGHT" is currently being held.
During the event, the area around Daikumachi will be brightly lit up with lanterns and logo lights associated with plums and Daikumachi, and you can enjoy snack bar hopping and special plum-based menus. This initiative aims to improve the current situation where many day-trippers visit Kairakuen and for sightseeing, and to increase the number of overnight guests. Liven up your Mito night!
"DAIKUMACHI NIGHT" is an event where you can fully enjoy the nightlife of Mito. The soft light of paper lanterns illuminates the downtown area of Mito, and the event is packed with content, including ticket-based bar hopping at various unique Daikumachi snack bars, and the chance to sample limited-edition plum dishes created in collaboration with local restaurants.
