A special event combining sake and camping, "Tipsy Hot Sake Night," will be held at Nagata Sanso Campground in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, from Saturday, November 29th to Sunday, November 30th, 2025. Organized by Sawanotsuru, a sake brewery in Nada, Kobe, and outdoor media outlet Hinata, the event is limited to 50 groups (100-150 people), and a lottery will be held if there are too many applicants. The participation fee is 6,500 yen for high school students and above, 1,500 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and free for preschoolers.
The event will include a "Hot Sake Class" on how to brew delicious hot sake, a hands-on snack class, a sake tasting quiz, a workshop on decorating sake cups with paracord, and even free Shizuoka-style oden. The venue will also feature a "Bar Sawanotsuru" corner and a stall from the outdoor brand "LALPHA," allowing participants to enjoy interacting with each other.
The location offers a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji, and is equipped with flush toilets, simple showers, and other facilities, making it a camping environment that is considerate of families and beginners. It is conveniently located about 15 minutes by car from the Gotemba IC on the Tomei Expressway. The application deadline is Sunday, October 19, 2025.
