Super Highball Festival
The first ever "Super Highball Festival," an experiential event where you can adjust the strength of your highball to your liking using carbonated water, will be held for four days from Thursday, August 28th to Sunday, August 31st, 2025, at Ueno Park (in front of Ueno Zoo's Bentenmon Gate).
There will be a total of 125 varieties of whiskey, 65 types of spirits, 18 types of citrus and berry drinks, and 27 types of sweet liqueurs. Visitors can sample the drinks using special coins (Super High Coins) and create their own highball by adding carbonated water and ice as they like. A hexagonal taste chart will be available to show your taste preferences at a glance, as well as the "golden ratio" recommended by staff. After tasting, you can purchase your favorite brands at the "Super High Bazaar" (some brands will be in limited quantities). The venue will also have a wide selection of snacks and toppings such as cheese and nuts, and two food trucks will also be present. In addition, the popular "Beer x Cassis Boilermaker" will be available, making for a spectacular drink.
Advance tickets are on sale until Wednesday, August 27th (16 coins, with a separate fee for glasses), while same-day tickets will be sold in sets of 14 coins. Please note that drinking is only permitted for those 20 years of age or older.
