"Chukasoba Shimorenjaku" opens

The masterpiece by Masayuki Kusumi, the original author of "The Solitary Gourmet"Lonely Chinese Noodles "Eguchi"" is a ramen restaurant in Mitaka known for its drinkable ramen shop "Chinese Noodles Eguchi" closed its doors on January 31, 2010, after 58 years of history, following the passing of the second-generation owner and the expiration of the tenant contract.

A few months later, Eguchi's staff followed the "Eguchi style" in the same place and opened a restaurant called "Mitaka Chinese Noodles" opened in 2017. There are long lines every day, with customers eating Chinese noodles and drinking bottled beer at the "ramen bar."

This restaurant is a tribute to the founder of Mitaka's ramen drinking culture, "Eguchi."Chinese Noodles Shimorenjaku" opened on Saturday, December 16th. There are two types of bottled beer, Kirin and Sapporo, and three types of canned chuhai.

There are also small appetizers on offer, so you can enjoy Mitaka-style ramen bar drinking, starting with small dishes and alcohol and finishing with ramen.
