Musashisakai "Tokiwa Shokudo"
Tokiwa Shokudo is a branch of the Tokiwa Shokudo chain, which is dotted around downtown Tokyo. The westernmost branch, Musashisakai, is preparing to close due to road expansion. Last year, the popular ramen shop Kiraboshi also closed due to eviction. The neighboring second-hand bookstore and Western-style pastry shop have also closed one after another, leaving the area around Tokiwa Shokudo vacant.
The sign read, "It has been decided that the building will be demolished within the year, and we will be closed in January and February in preparation."
Tokiwa Shokudo, a restaurant in Musashino-sakai, was founded in 1973. I hope this "preparation" is for the relocation.
