Founded in 1924 (Taisho 13), Yotsuya "Yachiku," a specialty restaurant specializing in chakinzushi and Osaka sushi, will close its doors on Monday, March 31st, after 100 years of history, due to a combination of external environmental changes such as rising food and labor costs, as well as internal issues such as an aging workforce, difficulty in hiring new employees, and aging equipment.
