Whisky Culture Research Institute Co., Ltd. has released "Whiskey Certification Official Question Book Level 3 Vol. 4" and "Whiskey Certification Official Question Book Level 2 Vol. 4," which contain past questions from the Whisky Certification Examination.
This new book contains the exam questions and answers for three exams, from the 19th exam held in September 2024 to the 21st exam in September 2025. It is a must-have book for test takers aiming to pass, as it will help them check the question trends and difficulty level and finalize their studies.
The Whisky Proficiency Test is a qualification test that tests knowledge of whiskey production methods, history, culture, etc., and has had a cumulative total of approximately 34,000 applicants since its launch in 2014. It has been well received by a wide range of people, from hobbyists to those who work with alcohol.
Each workbook is priced at 1,100 yen (tax included) and can be purchased from the Whisky Culture Research Institute online shop or Amazon. The next "22nd Whisky Proficiency Test" (Grades 3, 2, and Irish Whiskey) is scheduled to be held from February 13th to February 24th, 2026.
