The new "Tale of Three Cities Edition" of the "Travelling the World Original Sake Series" will be released on Friday, November 14, 2025, to coincide with the "Brewing Safety Prayer Festival (Sake Festival)," which prays for safe brewing and a bountiful harvest.
The campaign, "Tale of Three Cities (Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe)," originally launched by JR West in the 1990s, has been revived for the modern era, proposing a new form of regional tourism that combines travel and sake. The product is a three-bottle set (300ml x 3, 5,200 yen excluding tax) in collaboration with sake breweries in Kyoto, Osaka, and Hyogo (Kobe), each showcasing the flavors of their respective regions. Sasaki Sake Brewery in Kyoto, Yamano Sake Brewery in Osaka, and Nadahama Fukutsuru Brewery in Hyogo are participating, expressing the flavors of each region.
