A Hoppy booth called "Hoppy Tea Shop" will be set up at the Akasaka Hikawa Festival, which will be held in Akasaka for three days from tomorrow, Friday, September 15th to Sunday, September 17th, selling Hoppy beer in barrels and Akasaka Beer Hikawa Festival labels.
Also, the place where the mikoshi rests along the way is in front of the Hoppy Beverage headquarters, so they will be serving Hoppy (without shochu) straight from the barrel to not only the people carrying the mikoshi, but everyone participating in the festival. I'm so jealous! That's a rare treat!

Incidentally, the Akasaka Hikawa Festival's float dolls and accessories have recently been designated as Tangible Folk Cultural Properties of Minato Ward. The grand parade will depart from Hikawa Shrine and travel to Sakasu Square, after which smaller parades will depart again and tour each neighborhood. Rest areas for the mikoshi are called otabisho (temple halls), omisakesho (sacred sake halls), or omikariya (temple halls), and for the first time, one of these will be in front of Hoppy Beverage's headquarters. We will be serving Hoppy (without shochu) straight from the barrel, so that not only the mikoshi carriers but all festival participants can enjoy it. Hoppy has also created fans made from recycled polyester fiber made from recycled PET bottles for the Akasaka Hikawa Festival. These will also be distributed to everyone. After the parade comes the long-awaited Bon Odori festival at Akasaka Hikawa Shrine. Starting this year, the venue within the Hikawa Shrine forest will be divided into a dance plaza and a shop plaza. The Bon Odori starts at 6:00 PM on all three days, but Akasaka Meitengai, home to Akasaka's most famous shops, will start at 3:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. At the Hoppy booth, called "Hoppy Tea Shop," you can also find ice-cold Hoppy kegs and Akasaka Beer Hikawa Festival labels. Starting this year, there is ample food and drink space in front of the Meitengai booth, so please use it to fill your stomach before dancing or take a break between dances. #hoppy # Hoppy # Akasaka Hikawa Festival # Akasaka # Festival"94 likes, 0 comments - hoppybeverageco on September 13, 2023: "A joint procession of 15 neighborhood mikoshi (portable shrines) and the debut of the "Yamato Takeru" (Emperor Yamato Takeru) will be held this weekend.
