[Book] The fourth edition of the Japanese Distillery Yearbook, "JAPANESE WHISKY YEARBOOK 2026," will be released on Tuesday, February 17th.

The Whisky Culture Research Institute is planning to release a comprehensive guidebook covering all of Japan's whisky distilleries, "JAPANESE WHISKY YEARBOOK 2026," on February 17, 2026. The guidebook will introduce a total of 126 distilleries, from major manufacturers to craft distilleries and facilities currently in the planning stages, and will include information on the history of the area, people involved, released bottles, and tour information.

The book also includes the latest trends in distilleries, which have rapidly increased in number in recent years, information on first releases, and commentary on award-winning bottles. It also contains a comprehensive overview of Japanese whisky, including a 2025 overview by critic Mamoru Tsuchiya, a list of distilleries, a map, a timeline, and introductions to bottlers, making it a highly informative book that provides an overview of the entire Japanese whisky landscape.
