"Snack bars" are a type of restaurant business unique to Japan that reached its peak of around 300,000 during the Showa era and is now said to have declined to around 100,000. However, due to the influence of the Showa retro boom in recent years, there has been an increase in contact rates among the 25-34 age group, and they are quietly gaining popularity among the younger generation (according to a survey by the All Japan Snack Bar Federation).

In particular, women who frequent snack bars, known as "sunajo," have become a social phenomenon.

JINRO has grown alongside the snack industry and has been a popular snack for many years since its launch in Japan in 1979. In this project, we will work with the All Japan Snack Bar Association to liven up the snack bar industry as a whole!

"Snack Mama Card Collection" now available!

The "Snack Mama Card Collection" will feature trading cards of real snack bar mamas. The cards will be sold as a set with a "JINRO 700ml bottle" at select retailers in the area and on Amazon.co.jp.

 The first wave will focus on snack bar mamas (25 types in total) in Adachi Ward, Tokyo, and will go on sale from Monday, June 24th! Enjoy JINRO at home or in a snack bar, feeling the rarity and familiarity of these area-exclusive and limited-quantity cards. If you pick up a card and find one that catches your eye, why not stop by a snack bar?

This project is being carried out as an officially recognized project of the All Japan Snack Federation, a general incorporated association chaired by entertainer Tamabukuro Kintaro. This campaign will continue to implement various projects, so please look forward to future developments!

Overview of the All Japan Snack Federation

Since its launch in 2013, under the leadership of Chairman Tamabukuro Kintaro, the organization has been working to promote and develop snack bar culture. With the philosophy that "snack bars are nighttime resorts where you can drink, sing, and connect," the organization is actively involved in projects to support snack bar hostesses, the YouTube program "Corporate Karaoke Championship," and tie-ups and collaborations with companies and organizations.
