A fire broke out in the early hours of the 6th in a restaurant district near Hankyu Juso Station in Yodogawa Ward, Osaka City, and the long-established bar "Jusoya," which relocated and reopened in 2020, was also damaged in the fire.
At around 5:00 AM, a report of "black smoke being seen" was received, and approximately 50 fire engines were dispatched. The fire was mostly extinguished after about three hours, but a total of six buildings, including the store where the fire started, and approximately 540 square meters of space were burned. It is believed that the fire started when an employee at the store where the fire started left cooking oil on the fire and left it unattended.
