KIRISHIMA GREENSHIP icoia
A new facility created in collaboration between Kirishima Shuzo and Starbucks,KIRISHIMA GREENSHIP icoiaKirishima Greenship Ikoia will open on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
The facility will house a directly managed store, "KIRISHIMA LIFE STORE ipomea," which will offer "items to update your lifestyle," such as shochu, craft beer, sake ware, and miscellaneous goods.
The facility's name, "GREENSHIP," comes from the image of a ship sailing into the future powered by renewable energy generated by sweet potatoes. The "ia" at the end of the name conveys the meaning of a place where people gather, similar to "Asia" or "Eurasia."
The facility also has areas such as "Meguri no Mori," "Observation Hill," and "Relaxation Garden," aiming to create a relaxing space where visitors can feel the nature and culture of Miyakonojo.
