Kiuchi Sake Brewery (Naka City, Ibaraki Prefecture) will release a limited quantity of "Hinomaru Whisky Craft Cask Highball Elegant Sherry," a canned craft highball blended with three types of unblended whiskey, nationwide from early July 2025.
This sparkling whiskey (71% ABV, 4T ABV, 355ml can) is made from a base of malt spirits distilled at Yasato Distillery and aged in bourbon casks, blended with sherry and cherry casks for added accent, and then mixed with carbonation. Characterized by a gorgeous sherry aroma and a full-bodied flavor derived from the three types of casks, it's also perfect as a drink with food. The suggested retail price is 385 yen (tax included). It will be sold through Nihon Sake Beverages at mass retailers, liquor stores, and liquor shops.
