This year marks the 10th anniversary of Miyakonojo City in Miyazaki Prefecture relaunching its hometown tax donation program, focusing on two of Japan's best products: meat and shochu. After that, the program was suspended while the return gifts were reviewed, but it has now been decided to revive the program to commemorate the 10th anniversary. Donations of up to 1,000,000 yen are currently being accepted on the following portal site.
