Nagano Electric Railway "Nagaden Local Sake Train" will be operating for the first time in five years.

This train allows passengers to compare sake from two breweries aboard the 1000 Series Yukemuri, a converted former Odakyu Romancecar "HiSE" (10000 series). This year, they will be serving special Japanese-style bento boxes from Watahan Grocerant as snacks.

In 2024, it will run on Fridays (except May 3rd) until early June. The outbound journey is from Nagano at 18:34 to Obuse at 19:08, and the return journey is from Obuse at 19:42 to Nagano at 20:15. Both the outbound and return journeys stop at Gondo and Suzaka.
