Kazuhiko Ota is an art director in the production department of Shiseido's advertising department and a writer currently appearing on the BS11 program "Kazuhiko Ota's Wandering Journey: New 100 Izakayas." His latest essay, "I'm 80 Years Old, a Delinquent Old Man" (Aki Shobo), will be released on December 20th.
The author, Kazuhiko Ota, is a designer and author. After graduating from the Department of Art, Faculty of Education, Tokyo University of Education (now University of Tsukuba), he worked as an art director in the production department of Shiseido's advertising department before going independent. From 2001 to 2008, he was a professor at Tohoku University of Art and Design. In addition to his day job, he visits izakayas all over Japan and has published many books. He also appears on the TV program "Kazuhiko Ota's Wandering Journey: New 100 Izakayas" (BS11).

This book is a record of the author's 80-year-old life, in which he enjoys his old age and describes his everyday life and travels, enjoying delicious food and drinks without any luggage.
