On weekends and holidays from July 26th to August 24th, 2025, Oigawa Railway will be running a "Beer Train" will be operated. Cold beer, highballs, and soft drinks are all-you-can-drink. The snack bento lunches are full of variety, with Tenjinya & Osen for the summer course and Tokaiken's daily menu (from a local supplier) for the daytime drinking course.
The "Cool Off Course" allows you to enjoy the coolness of the evening, while the "Daytime Drinking Course" allows you to leisurely enjoy a drink in the afternoon. The fare is 8,800 yen per person for the cool off course and 7,000 yen per person for the daytime drink (tax included). This is a summer-only train trip that travels around the Shin-Kanaya, Ieyama and Kanaya area, and includes both boarding and food and drink. Applications are accepted online and there is a limited number of seats, so we recommend planning your reservation accordingly.
