The "Supreme Sake SAKE COMPETITION Official Catalog 2025-2026" has been released. This catalog provides detailed information on 118 award-winning sakes carefully selected from across Japan, along with basic data, a taste chart, and recommended drinking temperatures.
The magazine also features numerous interviews with award-winning breweries and judges, sharing the thoughts of brewers and this year's trends, as well as providing easy-to-understand explanations of basic sake knowledge, such as the manufacturing process and how to read labels. The 2025 SAKE COMPETITION will see the creation of a new judging category for sake made using traditional methods, the "Modern Natural Division," adding a bronze award to the gold and silver categories.
