Shirataki Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. will open a new sake experience facility, "shop & taproom Flow," on June 2, 2025. The facility is located a five-minute walk from JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station and will include a shop, tasting counter, and experience lounge.
Flow aims to allow visitors to experience the depth and enjoyment of sake with all five senses, and in addition to tasting experiences, plans call for offering a sake blending experience from around summer 2025, and an immersive digital video experience from around winter 2026. A non-alcoholic menu will also be available so that those who are abstaining from alcohol and children can enjoy the experience.
In consideration of the environment, an oasis station has also been set up where brewing water can be drawn for free. Through "Flow," Shirataki Sake Brewery aims to become a hub for spreading the new appeal of sake culture.
