[Information] Kitakyushu's "Sukesan Udon" opens its first store in Kansai

😅 I arrived at 1:30pm... but... Most of the menu was already sold out💦 There was just one "kake @ 400 yen" left, so I ordered that🤲 and it was a dead end‼️ The broth is based on mackerel and shiitake mushrooms and has a slightly sweet taste. Many udon shops in Kokura have a sweeter taste, but personally, Kitakyushu udon is my favorite♪ And the udon. It's fluffy when you bite into it, but still has a chewy texture.♡ The one I had in Kokura was softer, but (huh?! Is it a little closer to Kansai? (lol)) My honest impression was that it was chewier than the original. The kamaboko had a flag with the character "助" written on it❣️ Apparently, it's derived from the president's mispronunciation of his name as "助 = suke" at the hospital👍 Anyway, I ate it all up in no time. It's been a while since I've had a full udon, it's so delicious😋 When I finished and went to the return counter, they were completely sold out, so I managed to get in just in time♬ I asked the lady at the counter and she told me there were only four bowls left after me (^◇^;) But there was good news in the flyer‼️ Apparently, the first Kansai store will be opening in a shopping mall in Tsurumi within the year😍 Ah, now I can eat Kitakyushu udon anytime. I definitely want them to stock their original oden and botamochi!! Kitakyushu's soul food, "Sukesan Udon," will be making its first foray into the Kansai region in November 2023! The first store will be "Sukesan Udon Imabuku Tsurumi Store" in Tsurumi Ward, Osaka City! They will also be setting up a store at events in Osaka in August and September! Please look forward to it!
