Suntory will raise the prices of some of its domestic premium whiskey products from April 1st next year. In recent years, domestic whiskey has been facing a tight supply-demand situation due to rising demand both at home and abroad. High-priced products, in particular, require long-term aging, so production cannot be increased immediately, making it difficult to fully meet demand.

The price hike will affect 19 products from five brands, including Suntory Whisky Hibiki 30 Year Old, Yamazaki 25 Year Old, and Hakushu 25 Year Old, all of which will see a significant increase from 160,000 yen (excluding tax) to 360,000 yen (excluding tax).
