Takara Shuzo Co., Ltd. will release a limited quantity of "Takara Shochu Highball" 5% <Special Pear Cider>" nationwide on Tuesday, October 8th.

Takara Shochu Highball is a dry chuhai that pursues the taste of the original shochu highball, which was born in the popular bars of Tokyo's downtown area in the late 1940s and is said to be the origin of the word chuhai (chuhai). In addition to the satisfying drinkability and crisp, refreshing, dry taste that are unique to Takara Shochu, it has also been well received by customers for its functionality, such as being purine-free and sweetener-free.

The newly released 5% "Special Pear Cider" is a new flavor with zero sugar that uses a "special fruit extract" extracted and filtered using a unique method from Japanese pear puree, resulting in a refreshing aroma and a fresh taste. The base alcohol is "Takara Shochu," and even though it contains 5% alcohol, it is a satisfying drink.
