Taguchi Mokko's "Tarushiru" won the Saitama New Business Award. This stick is made from rare Mizunara oak wood and transforms everyday alcohol into a premium drink. It is scheduled to be sold at Don Quijote stores in the summer of 2025.
Mizunara oak is the same wood that is used in the aging barrels of high-quality whiskey, and by placing these sticks in alcohol, the sweet and mellow flavor is transferred within 7 to 14 days, giving it an almost aged taste. It is particularly effective with inexpensive alcohol, and is characterized by the fact that it allows you to easily enjoy an upgrade in flavor.
